"Thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight. best fans in the world. figuring out what happened. thanks for the love."
The pop superstar also shared an Instagram snapshot -- in which he reclines in a hospital bed, shirtless, smiling serenely for the camera. "Gettin better listening to Janice Joplin," he wrote in a nod to the late 60s soul/rock singer Janis Joplin.
